International journal of disaster risk reduction

The International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction (IJDRR) is an on-line plenary academic journal that publishes papers on all aspects of disaster, risk, vulnerability, resilience, hazard and related themes. The IJDRR particularly encourages the submission of manuscripts of an interdisciplinary character. It also encourages work that offers practical solutions to risk and disaster problems. It will be of interest to academics and practitioners who work in the fields of disaster mitigation, response and recovery, and risk management.

The journal is edited by David E. Alexander, Professor of Risk and Disaster Reduction at University College London (UK) and Chief Senior Scientist the Global Risk Forum (Davos, Switzerland).
