Addressing the serious issue of climate change requires substantial investment in new technologies, processes and services. This investment is not just desirable, it is essential. It requires, however, finance in the form of equity, loans, insurance and other options.
This finance ranges over a broad spectrum of needs - from conventional project finance for large multi-million dollar windfarms, to micro-credit loans for rural people to purchase efficient cookstoves.
