Island life: On the edge - coping with climate change and development challenges in the Maldives

This magazine is comprised of a collection of stories on climate change and development challenges in the Maldives. It features UNDP’s initiatives, interviews with selected officials of the government, fast facts and project briefs amongst others. Human-interest stories are the primary focus of this publication which aims to bring in the viewpoints of communities and individuals on how such initiatives had made positive impacts on their lives. Topics featured include: citizen-led climate adaptation, climate resilient model from Maldives, adapting tourism to climate change, water-shortages resilient communities, and others.
