Knowledge management for mountain development: knowledge and technologies for mountain development

This document introduces Community-Based Early Warning efforts in Bangladesh, in which it presents how the country is reducing vulnerabilities to floods and cyclones by making information accessible to those to whom it matters most. It also highlights a number of ongoing initiatives on the application and use of knowledge and communication, including ICIMOD's own efforts to serve as an open house for knowledge initiatives on sustainable mountain development.
