The brief uses the analysis to recommend that the G20 urgently mobilise greater volumes of private investment in adaptation solutions. This includes designing new innovative financing instruments to de-risk investments, advancing how adaptation is defined in green taxonomies, and encouraging national policy reform to break down barriers to private investment in adaptation.
