National cyclone support plan review 2015-2016
The aim of this plan is to detail the prevention, preparedness, response and recovery arrangements in the event of a cyclone impacting on the Republic of Vanuatu, in line with the requirements of the National Disaster Act. It provides guidelines and information on cyclones to all responding and responsible agencies on what needs to be done in a much more coordinated system. It provides for the mobilisation and coordination of the Country's resources, both public and private, to deal with an impending Tropical Cyclone emergency.
