This report offers a comprehensive overview of OHCHR activities and strategies.

It shows that, if OHCHR is mainly involved in mainstreaming human rights into the delivery of humanitarian assistance in the aftermath of natural disasters, it also progressively incorporate human rights into disaster management, with the aim of reducing the vulnerability of affected populations and special groups in situations of disaster.
