Participatory evaluation of earthquake risk and resilience in Lalitpur sub-Metropolitan city
This report is the outcome of a Lalitpur workshop on “Participatory Evaluation of Earthquake Risk and Resilience". The report offers lessons learned and highlights areas for follow up in the future, such as the assessment of gaps in community resilience in urban settings, which has not been actively considered to date in planning and implementation of disaster risk management actions in Nepal.
The report aims to foster further communication and exchange on earthquake resilience among the different administrative levels of Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City (LSMC), the Lalitpur Wards and relevant local stakeholders, including the National Society for Earthquake Technology Nepal (NSET) based on the Resilience Scorecard results.
The workshop was held in Lalitpur Sub Metropolitan City&rdquo from 25th- 26th March 2014, at Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City Assembly Hall, Pulchok.
