Perú: Plan Nacional de Adaptación al Cambio Climático: un insumo para la actualización de la Estrategia Nacional ante el Cambio Climático

This National Adaptation Plan is an input for the update of the National Climate Change Strategy.

The ENCC is the main instrument for comprehensive climate change management that guides and facilitates the State's action at the national level in the long-term area of ​​climate change; Under the guidance of the MINAM, it develops its objectives through measures, goals, indicators and those responsible, in accordance with the current regulations on the matter. It reflects the commitment of the Peruvian State to act against climate change in an integrated, transversal and multi-sectoral manner, complying with the international commitments assumed by Peru before the UNFCCC. Among the basic guidelines established by this Convention, it is found that action against climate change is addressed from two perspectives, adaptation to climate change and mitigation of climate change.

El presente Plan Nacional de Adaptación es un insumo para la actualización de la Estrategia Nacional de Cambio Climático.

La ENCC es el principal instrumento para la gestión integral del cambio climático que orienta y facilita la acción del Estado a nivel nacional en materia de cambio climático de largo plazo; bajo la guía del MINAM, desarrolla sus objetivos a través de medidas, metas, indicadores y responsables, de acuerdo con la normativa vigente en la materia. Refleja el compromiso del Estado peruano de actuar frente al cambio climático de manera integrada, transversal y multisectorial, cumpliendo con los compromisos internacionales asumidos por el Perú ante la CMNUCC. Entre los lineamientos básicos que establece esta Convención, se encuentra que la acción frente al cambio climático se aborda desde dos perspectivas, la adaptación al cambio climático y la mitigación del cambio climático.
