Policy brief: Making the SDGs sustainable and resilient - Disasters and resilience in the outcome document of the Open Working Group

This short brief analyses the outcome of the Open Working Group on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from the perspective of disaster risk reduction (DRR) and resilience. It describes key targets and goals and analyses their strengths. It also proposes some next steps.

This note, dated 23 July 2014, is a contribution to the dialogue on the post-2015 development agenda, and is supported by the NGO Cluster on DRR including Oxfam, Christian Aid, Islamic Relief and others.
