Post disaster needs assessment (PDNA) for Iran floods 2019
The findings of the post disaster needs assessment captured in this report present a consolidated view of damage, loss and recovery needs estimates, based on information received from various line departments and the expertise of a multi institutional and interdisciplinary assessment team. The PDNA report provides baseline data, describes the damages and losses to human, infrastructural and natural assets across multi-sector economic activities, and also the impact the disaster has had on the provincial economies. It is also a useful planning instrument for recovery and development purposes.
In addition, for each sector, strategies that would allow for resilient recovery are also provided.
