This document reports on Gambia's celebration of International Day for Disaster Reduction on 13th October. The Agency joined the rest of the World in the commemoration by organizing a cleaning exercise at the Ferry Crossing “Set-settal”, drama performance, match pass and through a statement from the Vice President and Minister of Women’s Affairs who is also the Chairperson of the National Disaster Management Governing Council. The commemoration takes place every year and rotates to the regions.
