Report on the international workshop on sustainable tsunami disaster management: developing awareness, hazard mapping and coastal forest implementation

This document reports on an international workshop on sustainable tsunami disaster management on March 9 to 11, 2010 at Banda Aceh, Indonesia, which objective was to improve the capacity of local disaster manager in developing countries on sustainable tsunami disaster management through the development of tsunami disaster awareness and preparedness by using THM and coastal forest implementation. The report describes the contents, evaluates the results and concludes the lesson for future activities of local capacity development.
