Report on the workshop 'Preparing for and adapting to climate change in the Caribbean'
This report aims to communicate the science of climate change to government officials and decision makers in the UK Overseas Territories in the Caribbean, and explore ways of preparing for and adapting to climate change.
It is the outcome from of a two-day workshop held from 2-3 June 2005 designed for government personnel in the UK Overseas Territories in the Caribbean. It was funded by the UK Government's Overseas Territories Environment Programme, and organized by the Cayman Islands Government Department of Environment, the UK Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research and the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre based in Belize.
