Review of state agency integration at a local and district level: report 2, 2014-15
The purpose of this review is to describe the drivers for, and barriers to, integration of state government agencies in Queensland’s disaster management arrangements. It is focused on the participation of state agencies in local and district disaster management groups.
There are challenges to how state agencies integrate effectively at district and local levels to support disaster management, and maintain these linkages. Clearer roles and responsibilities in doctrine, increased engagement and risk based planning present opportunities for a more integrated approach.
