Risks and challenges n° 10: French Overseas Departments and Territories (DOM-TOM) and Major Risks
This free supplement of TDC n° 858 (June 2003) presents articles on: major risks in the French Overseas Departments and Territories (DOM-TOM), in particular with a case study on the Réunion Island, which condenses several types of risks (volcanoes, cyclones, pouring rains, floods, landslides, ?); risks existing in the Caribbean islands; tsunamis; the Pelée mountain blast in Martinique(8 May 1902), as illustrated by a poster.
