SIAM2 - Sustainable management C4: environment risks and resource management inception report - final
This inception report, prepared at the request of the Government of Samoa includes a section on natural risk management in Samoa - expand the Coastal Infrastructure Management Plan (CIM) strategy to: (i) incorporate issues relating to climate change adaptation; and (ii) incorporate strategies for other types of hazards (e.g. flooding, landslips etc.) and to complete the CIM plans for the remaining 28 Districts of Samoa, incorporating coastal and other hazards.
It records the assessments and discussions undertaken during the inception review phase of the project and reviews and comments upon the methodology proposed for the completion of the project.
The report proposes any adjustments to provide a detailed work plan for the execution of the project, suggesting key performance and progress indicators for the development of an initial risk assessment and risk management plan.
