Sustainable eco-development of Kampong Baharu: a policy perspective

Addressing sustainable eco-development in a Malaysian area, this publication suggests collective actions on environmental, economic and social issues and policy tools to strengthen the capacity for institutional development, such as enhancing the adaptive capacity to disaster resilience. It takes a look forward, aiming to avoid rapid economic growth leading to environmental deterioration and related natural disasters.
