Towards the UN MDG Review Summit 2010: CONCORD’s recommendations to the EU

This paper sets out what the European Union needs to deliver to achieve progress towards meeting the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), and addresses other pressing development challenges such as people’s vulnerability to disasters as well as adaptation to and mitigation of climate change in the context of the MDGs.

It specifically targets the UN Review Summit and looks at the opportunities that exist at this important juncture, as well as tackling some of the overarching areas linking the Goals and important to all of them. This is followed by chapters on the individual MDGs where more detailed analysis is provided.
