The main purpose of this document is to provide state and local officials with information on various local tsunami warning systems and procedures, and to assist local jurisdictions with planning and developing warning systems and procedures for their own areas. Developed within western context, this document is nevertheless a good reference for the Government of Indonesia to enact tsunami warning systems and procedures tailored to each of its region’s conditions.
