Understanding and responding to climate change in developing Asia
This document is part of the Asian Development Bank’s policy and support effort for climate change mitigation and adaptation. It summarizes the priorities for ADB’s responses to climate change based on regional analysis and ADB’s comparative advantage for developing policy, institutional, and operational responses to climate change.
It synthesizes the results of Climate Change Implementation Plan (CCIP) covering Central and West Asia, the Pacific, South Asia, East Asia and Southeast Asia to serve as a guide for climate-related responses, both to mitigate greenhouse emissions and to adapt to climate change impacts. Priorities defined in the report are incorporated into individual country investment plans.
