The Urban Action Kit is a quick-start, low-cost, do-it-yourself guide to urban resilience activities that will increase a community-based organization’s visibility and engagement on urban issues. Activities in the Kit require little to no funding; are short-term engagements, and use existing networks and skills.
Please help us improve PreventionWeb by taking this brief survey. Your input will allow us to better serve the needs of the DRR community.
The main audience for the guide are Red Cross and Red Crescent National Society branches and local community-based organizations (CBOs) based in urban areas. The Kit contains a light introduction to urban concepts, followed by a series of six modules on: Creative Communications, Nature-based Solutions, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Urban Agriculture, Health & Wellbeing, Early Warning Early Action, and Liveable Cities.
