Strengthening national health emergency and disaster management capacities and resilience of health systems
This document presents some recommendations of UNESCO's Executive Board for adoption as a resolution by the Sixty-fourth World Health Assembly. It urges Member States to integrate all-hazard health emergency and disaster risk-management programmes (including disaster risk reduction) into national or sub-national health plans and institutionalize capacities for coordinated health and multi-sectoral action to assess risks and to develop safe and prepared hospitals programmes.
