Assessing and managing climate change risks in supply chains
This guidance presents a five-step framework for all sizes of businesses to understand what a changing climate and extreme weather mean for them. It is intended to help businesses to think through and identify new risks and opportunities within their supply chain, and to work out how to respond dynamically to increase resilience. It is relevant to businesses of every size, with special sections to address particular issues for small to medium enterprises (SMEs). Accompanying the framework are five case studies that illustrate how specific components of the framework can be implemented. They cover UK businesses from different sectors and of very different sizes that have begun to take action to increase the resilience of their supply chains to climate risks.
