Community resilience assessment and action handbook

This handbook has been designed by the BRACED Myanmar Alliance to understand community resilience building on established vulnerability assessment methodologies. It draws on established tools and methods and provides tailored context specific guidance in the context of Myanmar. The handbook also provides guidance on using historic, current and future climate and weather information to support the community information. The resilience action cycle further presents check-lists for screening prioritized resilience building activities to ensure they do no harm. Additional tools for better understanding a wider set of resilience related issues covering climate change, natural disasters, environmental change, conflict and inclusion are integrated into the handbook.
