The purpose of this review is to engage with the Mackay District Disaster Management Group and the local governments and local disaster management groups to access their capability to meet legislated obligations against the outcomes of the Standard for Disaster Management in Queensland. Its’ emphasis is on accessing district and local capabilities to deliver legislated Disaster Management outcomes against the Standard and to develop an integrated improvement strategy for the Mackay disaster district.
