Bonding CCA and DRR: recommendations for strengthening institutional coordination and capacities
This guidance is based on experience gained during the project (2015–2020). It provides insights and inspiration through showcasing innovative activities that target cooperation, collaboration, improved communication, increased coherence, and capacity-sharing between the Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) communities. The guidance seeks to encourage initiatives and activities which can further strengthen the coordination between, and capacity of, CCA and DRR institutions.
The target audience for this report is the institutions responsible for the planning and implementation of CCA and DRR strategies and action plans. management across the public and private sector, and supporting new, relevant initiatives with seed funding. • Learn, with a focus on knowledge management, developing common standards and sharing best practices, as well as providing training to professionals on a variety of relevant topics and skills.
