The first of a series of videos on mitigating the impact of COVID-19 on heritage in the MENAP Region is now available, with more being released in coming weeks. How can we safeguard heritage and communities in the face of overlapping risks and a global health crisis? Watch Protecting Cultural Heritage during COVID-19 by ICCROM, the ALIPH Foundation and the Egyptian Heritage Rescue Foundation.

This two-part video offers practical advice gathered by a global network of risk management and heritage professionals. Produced in Arabic with English subtitles, the instructional video provides easy-to-follow guidance for mitigating risks to heritage resources in the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan (MENAP), a region that has been adversely impacted by intersecting conflicts, extreme hazard events as well as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
