The Disease Control Priorities Project (DCPP) is a joint enterprise of The World Bank, the Fogarty International Center (FIC) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Population Reference Bureau. The NIH National Library of Medicine (NLM) is also a partner. DCPP is funded principally through a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The Disease Control Priorities Project (DCPP) is an ongoing effort to assess disease control priorities and produce evidence-based analysis and resource materials to inform health policymaking in developing countries. DCPP has produced three volumes providing technical resources that can assist developing countries in improving their health systems and ultimately, the health of their people.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
