FARM-D serves an important role as the main interactive space bringing actors together to exchange knowledge and advocate for best practices in ARM in developing countries. All activities on FARM-D are collaborative efforts built on the strengths of its members. Our mission is to promote systematic knowledge exchange on ARM through a dynamic community that enables members to share their experiences, gain access to information and best practices, access to expertise location, engage in constructive dialogues, and build partnerships. Our vision is to foster best practices and expertise in ARM to enhance resilience of agricultural systems across low- and middle-income countries.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
