The Bratislava Regional Center (BRC) - UNDP's Service Center for the 24 Country Offices in (South-) Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union - supports the country offices and RBEC-New York, and links them to one another. The BRC supports country offices by providing policy advising and backstopping services delivered by UNDP’s Bureau of Development Policy, as well as by RBEC’s regional specialists. The BRC also manages regional projects (conducted in at least three countries), and helps to capture and disseminate development knowledge and experience for replication throughout the region.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
