Upload your content

We invite authors to submit abstracts for the 2nd International Conference on Natural Hazards and Infrastructure (ICONHIC2019) before September 15, 2018.

Guidelines & Publication Policy

Abstracts must be written in English and may only be submitted online, at the following link: https://iconhic.com/2019/authors-area/.

Abstract submissions should link to one of the Conference topics or Special Sessions/Workshops themes. For a submission to be regarded complete and be processed, it should include a paper title, author(s)’ names, affiliations, e-mail addresses and text body.

Submitting authors will be asked to select (among a drop-down menu) one topic that best describes the area of the presented research. It is advised that the length of the abstract text is between 250 to 450 words. Figures and tables are not permitted in the abstract submission.

Acknowledgment of submission will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the submitting author. Please make sure that a confirmation e-mail is received after making the submission. If this e-mail confirmation is not received, it means that the submission has not been processed.

There is a limit of two papers per registered corresponding author. A surcharge of €100 per extra paper applies for delegates wishing to serve as corresponding authors of more than two papers. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings provided that the corresponding author has been registered to the conference. The corresponding (registered) author is not necessarily the first author.
