Nepal: Flood alert data not reaching communities

"Despite making progress in flood forecasting, Nepal has yet to develop sufficient mechanisms that help use real-time data for saving people´s lives. As of now, only government officials and some community persons get real-time flood data, which hardly reaches the grassroots level," according to Om Astha Rai writing for Republica.
