A multi-model boost for climate change research in India

A new study that is about to be published in the Current Science predicts increased precipitation in intense bursts but in the same time water scarcity over the sub-continent of India in the next 20 years, reports The Economic Times. Researchers used climate models that will be used for the next report of the Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC). They expect that due to climate change, temperatures will increase, water will be scarce and agriculture output will fall.
