The Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF) is an international partnership of countries highly vulnerable to a warming planet. The Forum serves as a South-South cooperation platform for participating governments to act together to deal with global climate change. The CVF brings together climate vulnerable developing countries from across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America and the Pacific. As of COP22, 48 nations are members. Ethiopia, the 6th CVF Chair, assumed the Presidency of the Forum in August 2016 following the tenure of Philippines.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
