ASEAN leaders sign Bali Concord III

On Thursday, November 17, leaders of the 10 Association of Southeast Nations signed the Bali Concord III accord, the road map outlining strategies to strengthen the ASEAN community's three pillars in security, the economy, and in the social-cultural field, reports eTN. The social-cultural issues include 'natural' disaster relief and prevention and climate change, among others.

The Bali Concord III was signed as an outcome of the 19th ASEAN Summit by the 10 heads of state/government of the ASEAN countries: Cambodia, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
