México tiene un marco legal obsoleto ante alertas sísmicas
Según El Occidental (OEM), el priísta Fernando Morales Martínez dijo que si bien hay avances importantes en materia de prevención de desastres en México, aún se siguen construyendo edificios altos en zonas de riesgo o se carece de estudios geológicos para determinar su resistencia ante terremotos, por lo que es necesario el nuevo marco legal.
"Afortunadamente el sismo ocurrido en Guerrero este sábado y que se sintió en varios estados del centro y sur del país no tuvo consecuencias tan graves, pero es necesario dar vigencia a la nueva ley, ya que tenemos un marco legal obsoleto, sobre todo en materia de alertas sísmicas, acciones coordinadas entre Gobiernos y construcción de edificios y escuelas".
