Mozambique: Germany announces climate adaptation fund

The German government has announced a fund of 18 million euros (around 23 million US dollars) to support measures that will help Mozambique adapt to climate change, reports All Africa. In 2012, measures to be covered by this fund will include strengthening of early warning systems and further disaster prevention measures in areas such as water and soil management, and bush fires.
