In their op-ed for New Age, Tasfi Sal-Sabil and M Mizanur Rahman address the triangular relationship between disaster, poverty and education in Bangladesh. They highlight the crucial necessity to have more investment on the rural schools so that the disaster events cannot hamper education and present some non-government initiatives addressing the disaster risk through school based activities.
