A flexible workspace provider, Regus, says that many Australian businesses are not prepared enough in the face of disasters, reports ZDNet. "The research reveals that in spite of reports indicating the average incident can cost up to $US500,000, disaster recovery plans among Australian businesses is not as widespread as imagined, particularly when it comes to the workplace," Regus regional vice-president of Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, William Willems, said. "The flooding in Queensland in particular has been reported to be one of the costliest disasters in Australian history."
