Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola has stated that unless governments enforced law and order in the process of urban development planning, cities and towns in Nigeria will continue to suffer from disasters reports the Daily Trust. He declared that, "the consequences of this neglect at planning have been overpopulation, flooding, rapid spread of diseases and epidemics, upsurge in criminal activities and incommodious life for slum dwellers."
