"The formulation of SNAP will take place at different dates from July to August and in September. It will be based on the outcomes from the workshop," said the Director of the National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC), Yahya Hj Abd Rahman, during a two-day multi-stakeholder workshop on the Hyogo Framework for Action and disaster risk reduction activities in Brunei Darussalam yesterday.

"Previously we have been very strong on promoting reaction and response to disasters but it is now time to work on the preparedness of the community and the agencies involved," said NDMC Special Duties Officer I Abdul Rahim Ismail.
