Kenya sets up new climate change centre

The new Climate Management Centre is intended to provide accurate information on climate change for the Kenyan general public together with early warning signs and suggestions for adaptation.

“Extreme climate events such as floods and droughts that have far reaching socio economic impacts, are common in the Horn of Africa” said Professor James Kiyiapi of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
