UNEP disasters and conflicts

This fact sheet describes UNEP Disasters and Conflicts sub-programme's vision and core services for 2010-2013, including disaster risk reduction with an aim to reduce exposure and vulnerability to natural hazards, and integrate environmental considerations into risk reduction policies and practices through risk assessment, strategic planning, and sharing of best practices. It also gives a brief description of UNEP's key projects in the area of risk reduction, along with their geographic scope and budget for 2010-2011.
