Putting community resilience into practice: initial lessons learned
This publication identifies a wealth of initial successes and lessons learnt at the halfway point in the implementation of the Partners for Resilience programme (PfR). Based on the eight key principles of the programme's resilience vision, it gathers case studies that illustrate how community resilience is currently being translated into practice, through early warning systems, resilient agriculture, climate- and ecosystem-smart disaster risk reduction techniques, policy processes, capacity building and risk mapping, among others.
