Together for a common cause: Germany's contribution to international climate financing

This brochure reports on the results of Germany's expanded commitment to sustained and ambitious reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and to support the adaptation activities needed to cope with the changes already occurring in the climate. It presents: (i) the objectives, commitments and implementation of the German climate financing to developing countries and emerging economies, as well as the ambitious climate and energy policies it pursues on its own; (ii) climate finance readiness and the German Green Climate Fund (GCF) programme; and (iii) the status of financial support for adaptation to the impacts of climate change in developing countries, including some project examples all around the world.
