Policy ready projections: making climate models more useful to planners
This briefing presents research findings from the Adapting to Climate Change in China Project (ACCC) and provides recommendations about: the multi-model advantage, modelling China’s future, managing a data deluge and the implications for adaptation planning.
It is intended to provide decision-makers with the policy–relevant information they require for evidence-based adaptation planning, taking into account current and future climate change and variability. It aims to share China's experience and lessons learnt with other developing countries in order to reduce their vulnerability to the impacts of climate.
