Monitoring and evaluation for climate change adaptation: a synthesis of tools, frameworks and approaches

This report highlights the opportunities and challenges facing the implementation of climate change adaptation programmes (CCA), enabling professionals and practitioners to identify which materials will help them most. It also represents a synthesis and summary of frameworks for the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of climate change adaptation interventions, with a specific focus on international development projects and programs, providing a short analysis of the “state of play” of adaptation M&E guidance, identifying key themes, and reflecting upon gaps and future priorities.
