Community selection of CBDRR project: final report
This report presents the methods, findings and results of the project titled “Enhanced Community Resilience to Floods in Bangladesh”. The project's main objective was to scale up Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) capacity towards community resilience in reducing disaster and climate change risks, focusing on diversification of livelihoods and ensuring safe water and sanitation. It included small scale mitigation by engrossing the community’s interest and association. The project was part of the agreement concerning Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction (CBDRR) between BDRCS and IFRC.
