From agreement to action: mobilizing suppliers toward a climate resilient world
This report analyzes information submitted by more than 4,000 suppliers of 75 Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) supply chain members, which represent more than US$2 trillion in procurement spend. It outlines the current state of supplier performance on climate-change management regarding the understanding of climate-related risks, the management of those risks and finally the need for significant improvement in reporting, management, and emissions reductions in the wake of the Paris Agreement on climate change in December 2015. The report also highlights opportunities to engage with suppliers, improve performance, and promote supply chain climate resilience.
